Strategy and Policy
The Team have expertise in Higher and Further Education funding and in particular evaluation the Augar fee review of post 16 Education. We are advising on the expected winners and losers from the review. We have recently been involved in forecasting the impact of the proposed new fee regime on major capital projects. We are advising the construction sector on which Universities and Colleges to target for new business.
Finance
With experience of raising over £150m in structured finance we can help with plan presentations and sources of funds. This experience covers VAT planning and Grant funding.
At grassroots level we ensure grants and S106 funding is considered early in charity projects. Getting the corporate structure of the business right from the start is key.
Project Evaluation and Management
Being expert in project appraisal and evaluation we can identify the financial risks up front and how to make the project just good. We can exploit the time value of money to your advantage.
Our CEO
William Marshall has been a Director in Higher Education for 25 years following a 10 year period in investment appraisal in industry. Twenty years as Director of Finance at a major University and a further 5 years in commercial development and enterprise speaks for itself. William is now leading this new consultancy with a network of consultants from across the South West in support.

Just Good Property
The Just Good Property part of our portfolio consists of construction projects and commercial developments. While the images below show projects completed by 2019 we also raised the funding, appointed contractors and delivered on time. We have also worked on the UWE Stadium project, the disposal of the St Matthias Bristol Campus and disposed of Land to the East of Coldharbour Lane to Taylor Wimpey and Extra care. We are currently working on two student accommodation projects, three sports ground developments, extracare and inter-generational site searches and a speculative plan for a Campus development.
